I’m a designer, developer and general all round creative thinker & doer from Dublin. Currently living in London, I’m working at The Workroom where I design and build websites, identities & branding systems. I have a BA in visual communications from Dublin Institute of Technology.
When I was younger, for some strange reason, I loved taking things apart and then putting them back together again, hopefully the same but usually with the odd screw or perhaps even a spring left over. I’m not exactly sure why, but I guess it was because I love seeing how things work on the inside or maybe it’s a love of building and rebuilding. Whatever it is I get the same fuzzy feeling seeing projects come together today.
I think it’s this passion for seeing how things function that I love about working on projects from all angles, whether it’s strategising, conceptualising, designing or developing. It’s creating and building things that work that I really get a kick out of.
When I’m not in work I can usually be found binge-watching TV shows & movies, listening to sciencey podcasts, working on personal projects, baking awesome (if I may say so myself) pies & cycling. Just not all at the same time.
If you have a project you think I’d be interested in, drop me a line at info@davedowling.net
